I just happened upon this blog, and this post which has inspired me so. I love to see such a refreshing, sensible attitude toward the natural evolution of two people’s love and committment to one another. Her story is so very similar to mine and Nathan’s. And, I’m certain that the pressures of how wedding planning should go are just silly. It is ultimately a societal pressure, and even I can’t help but get wrapped up in how different Nathan and I are about the whole thing.

And the pressures… so very silly! But the whole blogging community has helped so much! However what seems so ‘normal’ to me thanks to the blogging world is not normal to everyone else so I still get a lot of “what?! You aren’t doing ____ (insert typical ‘wedding’ activity here)?!” Oh well, what can you do?
